On page 1, after line 8, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. This act may be known and cited as the failure to protect families and victims act."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively, correct any internal references accordingly, and correct the title.

EFFECT: Adds a short title specifying that the act may be known and cited as the "Failure to Protect Families and Victims Act."
