HB 1820 - DIGEST

Finds that election ballots should be retained for a period of time that allows for time to detect and recover potential inconsistencies that could occur during an election.

Requires physical ballots to be retained for twenty-four months and cast vote records, voted ballot images or other electronically stored data of vote counts be retained for five years.

Prohibits removable memory cards, flash drives, or other ultraportable data storage devices from being inserted into a tabulation machine more than one time.
