On page 7, line 28, after "fees." insert "The landlord is not liable to the tenant if the tenant fails to return a signed written checklist within five days of the commencement of the tenancy."

EFFECT: Provides that, where the tenant does not return a signed written checklist within five days of the commencement of the tenancy, the landlord is not liable to the tenant for the deposit.
