On page 9, at the beginning of line 31, strike all material through "department." on line 36 and insert "(((ii) This subsection does not apply to long-term care workers employed by community residential service businesses until January 1, 2016.))"

EFFECT: Restores the requirement that a long-term care worker must pass both state and federal background checks before working and having unsupervised access.
