On page 18, after line 39, insert the following:
"
(d) Participation in the planning process and any subsequent negotiations must comply with the public participation program established by the local government or regional planning authority pursuant to RCW 36.70A.140."
EFFECT: Ensures that tribal mediation complies with existing public participation timelines.
