EFFECT: (1) Removes provisions prohibiting governing documents and declarations of homeowners' associations, condominium and apartment associations, and common interest communities, and restrictive covenants/deed restrictions, created after March 1, 2022, from preventing ADU construction or development.
(2) Removes provisions prohibiting GMA cities and counties from being held liable for issuing a permit for ADU construction that would violate governing documents and declarations of homeowners' associations, condominium and apartment associations, and common interest communities, and restrictive covenants/deed restrictions.
