| EFFECT: Adds an exception to the bill, authorizing manufacture, importation, distribution, offer for sale, and sale of assault weapons by licensed firearms manufacturers and dealers for the purpose of sale to any Washington citizen or resident who lives within one mile of a "community custody home," "group home," "transitional housing facility," or other facility operated by or under contract with the Washington Department of Corrections, Department of Social and Health Services, or Department of Children, Youth, and Families. |
