Subject of Possible Rule Making: Card rooms.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 9.46.070.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To require licensure of persons who install surveillance in card rooms. To clarify that only larger gambling equipment may be purchased on credit, not cards/chips, etc. Repeal Washington Blackjack because no card rooms offer this game any longer. Clarify procedures for reducing jackpots. Clarify reporting requirements. Several housekeeping changes.
