     Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 29A.04.610.

     Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The Help America Vote Act requires the HAVA information poster to be posted at each poll site. We'd like to tighten up ballot security for provisional ballots and ensure consistent procedures in all counties.

     Process for Developing New Rule:       Negotiated rule making.
