HORSE RACING COMMISSION

     Subject of Possible Rule Making: To develop rules for the conduct of group N wagering in Washington.

     Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 67.16.020.

     Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To allow racing associations to offer additional wagering options to bettors in an attempt to increase overall waging opportunities.

     Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.

     Process for Developing New Rule:       Negotiated rule making.
