POLICY STATEMENT

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

     The University of Washington has recently created or revised the following policy statements:

     "Administrative Council and the Board of Deans," Executive Order No. 16 revised effective January 9, 2006 (University Handbook, Vol. 2, Part I, Chapter 12, Section 12-24, Subsection III).

     "The Dean of University Libraries," Executive Order No. 17 revised effective January 9, 2006 (University Handbook, Vol. 2, Part I, Chapter 12, Section 12-25, Subsection I).

     "Outside Professional Work Policy," Executive Order No. 57 revised effective January 9, 2006 (University Handbook, Vol. 4, Part V, Chapter 6, Sections 1-6).

     "Promotion Policy for Classified Non-Union Positions," effective January 19, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 43.11).

     "Salary Determination Policy for Classified Non-Union Staff Covered by the State Department of Personnel Rules," effective January 19, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 43.12).

     "Probation and Trial Service Policy for Classified Non-Union Staff," effective January 19, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 43.13).

     "Performance Management Policy for Classified Non-Union Staff," effective January 19, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 43.14).

     "Leave Policy for Classified Non-Union Staff Covered by State Department of Personnel Rules," effective January 19, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 43.15).

     "Corrective Action Policy for Permanent Classified Non-Union Staff Covered by State Department of Personnel Rules," effective January 19, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 43.16).

     "Course-Numbering System" revised effective February 9, 2006 (University Handbook, Vol. 4, Part III, Chapter 15, Section 1, Item 9).

     "The Ombudsman," Executive Order No. 18 revised effective February 13, 2006 (University Handbook, Vol. 2, Part I, Chapter 12, Section 12-25, Subsection II).

     "User Fee Approval Policy," revised effective February 15, 2006 (Administrative Policy Statement 33.1).

     "Facilities and Spaces Naming Policy," revised effective April 26, 2006 (University Handbook, Vol. 4, Part VII, Chapter 10).
