LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD

     Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.

     Purpose: Under authority granted in chapter 49, Laws of 2006 (direct shipment of wine from Washington and other United States wine producers to Washington consumers), the liquor control board is establishing a fee for a wine shipper permit of $100 per year. This revenue will help support the cost of administering the program.

     Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 66.08.030; chapter 49, Laws of 2006.

WAC 314-24-232   What is the cost of a wine shipper's permit?   A wine shipper's permit is an annual permit. The fee is one hundred dollars per year.
