NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

WASHINGTON SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

     The Washington School for the Deaf board of trustees will hold two special meetings to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to meet candidates in the superintendent search, and provide feedback to the board of trustees before it makes its recommendations to the governor for final selection.

     The first special meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. at Puget Sound ESD, 800 Oakesdale Avenue S.W., Renton, WA 98507-5221. The Wednesday special meeting will also be simultaneously accessible by two-way video conference outside of the Seattle area at any of the following remote site locations. A trustee from the district where the remote site is located with be present to serve as moderator. ASL interpretive services will be provided at all locations.

• Bellingham School District Office, 1306 Dupont Street, Bellingham, WA 98225.
     On Thursday, March 13, 2008, the board of trustees will hold a second special meeting at the School for the Deaf, 611 Grand Boulevard, Vancouver, WA 98661.
