Subject of Possible Rule Making: Senior driver accident prevention program.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 46.01.110 and 48.19.460.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Legislation was passed allowing accident prevention courses for older insured drivers to be available via alternative forms of delivery. The department of licensing may adopt rules to ensure that insured drivers who seek certification for taking a course offered via an alternative delivery method have completed the course.
