Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: This proposal is the result of the department's ongoing commitment to review and revise its rules, when necessary, as mandated by Executive Order 97-02. The purpose of this rule is to update the WAC references cited in WAC 16-390-060 What are the fees for inspecting beans, peas, lentils and straw? The citations that are referenced in the WAC are out of date and must be updated with the current references. No substantive changes are made to WAC 16-390-060.
Reasons Supporting Proposal: The WAC references cited in WAC 16-390-060 must be updated so that interested parties may easily find the information cited in the WAC.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 15.17.030 and chapter 34.05 RCW.
Statute Being Implemented: RCW 15.17.030.
Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.
