Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 139-35 WAC, Firearms certification -- Private detectives.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 43.101.080.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The amendments to chapter 139-35 WAC are being [proposed] as simple language updates.
In addition, the title of chapter 139-35 WAC will be been changed from "Firearms certification -- Private detectives" to "Firearms certification -- Private investigators."
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.

Commissioners, board members, and stakeholders were advised of the proposed rule changes via e-mail. Proposed changes were also listed on the agency web site.
