The purpose of this policy is to provide answers to the frequently asked questions about the Family Care Act. The changes will implement 2009 ESSB 5688, and later Referendum 71, which changed the Family Care Act to include registered domestic partners. Additionally, the new telephone number for the protected leave unit is included.
