Lowering of the Washington State and United States Flags
I hereby direct that Washington State and United States
flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff
Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in memory of Specialist William C.
Spencer who died in Iraq February 20. Specialist Spencer was
assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd
Battalion, 146th Field Artillery, Army National Guard,
Olympia. Please notify your staff and all of your field offices
and facilities around the state.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business
on Tuesday, March 2, or first thing Wednesday morning, March
3.
Other government entities, citizens and businesses are
encouraged to join this recognition.
