Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: These rule revisions will provide greater consistency in the optional reporting of staff changes and enrollment changes, for purposes of calculating the state-required certificated instructional staff ratio (46:1000) compliance.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 28A.150.290(1).
Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.

School district reporting -- Optional
report -- Staff changes.
At any time prior to ((September 30
following the end of a school year)) completion of audit of
data by the state auditor, school districts may report to the
superintendent of public instruction supplemental full-time
equivalent staff for the school year pursuant to WAC 392-127-065 and instructions provided by the superintendent.

equivalent enrollment for any one month during the current
