In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list
of policy and interpretive statements issued by the department
of social and health services.
Division of Healthcare Services
Subject: Rural health centers.
Effective Date: April 6, 2011.
Document Description: The department is submitting SPA 11-16 to comply with legislation passed during the February 2011 supplemental budget. The legislation directs the department to reduce cost-based encounter payments to federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics by developing a new alternative payment methodology.
