аааа Subject: Outpatient hospitals and outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS).

аааа Effective Date: July 1, 2012.

аааа For this effective date, specific changes to the guide include:

Х Revise the "outpatient hospitals and outpatient prospective payment system fee schedule["] with: Updated fees; current procedural terminology (CPT) codes; and healthcare common procedure coding system (HCPCS) codes.

Х Implement updates to outpatient prior authorization and coverage requirements.

Х Implement revised maximum units.

Х Effective dates of service on and after September 4, 2012, require reporting of enrolled attending providers on all outpatient claims.
