Effective Date: April 1, 2013.

     Description: The health care authority (the agency) intends to submit medicaid state plan amendment (SPA) 13-11 11 in order to remove an out-of-date supplemental rebate agreement (SRA) for drugs approved in SPA 02-001, as well as out-of-date references to SRAs associated with SPAs 03-024 and 08-001, which were removed from the medicaid state plan with CMS approval on December 16, 2011. The agency discontinued use of this SRA several years ago but neglected to remove the SRA and the additional cross-references from the medicaid state plan. This SPA is being submitted as a housekeeping action. Removing the SRA and the cross-references will have no impact on federal, state, provider, or manufacturer expenditures because the SRAs are not in use.
