Subject: Mental Health Medicaid Provider Guide.

Effective for dates of service on and after January 1, 2014, the medicaid program of the health care authority (HCA) will update the Mental Health Medicaid Provider Guide to:

1. Restructure the entire document to improve clarity.

2. Incorporate new policies throughout to achieve mental health parity in mental health benefits.
