Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: Repealing chapter 132U-125 [132U-120] WAC, Whatcom Community College (WCC) student rights and responsibilities.

THIS RULE IS BEING PROPOSED UNDER AN EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE AGENCY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS, PREPARE A SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT, OR PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE CRITERIA FOR A SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE RULE. Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: The existing chapter 132U-120 WAC, Student rights and responsibilities, has out-of-date definitions, jurisdiction, and procedures that must be updated and revised based upon the assistant attorney general model policies and procedures and a statewide review of best practices among commun [no further information supplied by agency].
Reasons Supporting Proposal: Chapter 132U-120 WAC was rewritten but agency forgot to repeal. Per RCW 34.05.353 (2)(d) it is appropriate to allow for expedited rule making.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: Chapter 28B.50 RCW.
