Subject of Possible Rule Making: Traction devices—Automatic tire chains.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 46.37.005, 46.55.050, 46.55.115.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Update rules to include an automatic tire chain formerly approved by the state commission on equipment in the 1980s.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency review.
