Heritage Capital Projects Fund (HCPF)
Advisory Panel Meeting Announcement
The 2015-2017 HCPF grant application process is underway, and thirty-nine grant applications were received. The evaluation and review of the applications is being based solely upon the written response and support materials provided in the application. The staff review for eligibility and threshold requirements is now complete and all applications were forwarded to the 2015-2017 HCPF advisory panel. As authorized by RCW 27.34.330, advisory panel members are reviewing, evaluating and scoring the applications, and will convene in an open and public meeting to establish a prioritized list of heritage capital projects. The advisory panel may recommend a list totaling up to $10 million dollars. The prioritized list will be submitted to the governor and legislature for consideration of funding in the 2015-2017 State Capital Budget.
The HCPF advisory panel meeting for project prioritization will be held on Monday, August 4, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Washington State History Museum, 1911 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA. The advisory panel will break for lunch midway through the meeting. The public is welcome to attend the meeting and observe, but no public comment will be taken. The prioritized list established by the advisory panel will be available upon the meeting's conclusion and will be posted on the HCPF web page at http://www.washingtonhistory.org/support/heritage/capitalprojectsfund/.
