•       Increase the tuberculosis (TB) age requirement to twenty months, as long as the cattle are coming from a TB free state.
•       Eliminate the certificate of veterinary inspection (health certificate) exemption on horses, goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas that are entering Washington state for round trip visits of not more than four days.
•       Require dogs six months of age or older to be tested negative for heartworm prior to entry into Washington state.

Amending the rules to incorporate this newer technology and significant technological advances in nozzles for both aerial and ground apparatus for pesticide applications, which should aid in the reduction of drift, reduce the need for a permit and allow easier nozzle selection by pesticide users.

Housekeeping changes to correct a rule reference error in WAC 16-228-1546 (1) and (2), created when the soil fumigation RMM category was added to WAC 16-228-1545(3). The reference to these categories was not updated and incorrect categories have been referenced since the soil fumigation RMM category was inserted into WAC 16-228-1545 (3)(g), changing the lettering order of the subsequent, existing categories including changing the agricultural insect and disease category from (h) to (i) and the aquatic category from (t) to (u).
