NOTICE
Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendments (SPAs) regarding fee schedule effective dates.
Effective Date: January 1, 2015.
Description: The agency anticipates that one or more medicaid SPAs may need to be submitted to update certain fee schedules with an effective date of January 1, 2015. These are regular updates to keep rates and billing codes in alignment with the requirements of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The fee schedules that may be updated include:

Dental Services

EPSDT Services
•
Home Health Services
•
Kidney Center Services
•
Mental Health
•
OPPS (Outpatient Prospective Payment System)

Optometry Services
•
Oxygen Services

Physican-Related/Professional Services
•
School-Based Services
•
Telemedicine
•
Tobacco Cessation Services
Updating the effective date of these fee schedules is not anticipated to have an effect on annual aggregate expenditures.
