Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.50.140.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Revision is necessary to comply with the latest Title IX, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and campus SaVE requirements.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: United States Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights (Titles VII and IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964), VAWA, and Washington state human rights commission, chapter 49.60 RCW.
