Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 15-0018.

Effective Date: July 1, 2015,.

Description: The health care authority (the agency) intends to submit medicaid SPA 15-0018 to include information regarding early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment (EPSDT) health screening visits and enhanced foster care services and rates. The agency is updating this information under recommendation from the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services to ensure the medicaid state plan accurately reflects the state's current EPSDT policies and practice.

These updates do not reflect a change in current EPSDT services or payment. Therefore this SPA will have no effect on annual aggregate expenditures.
