Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 308-409 WAC, Appraisal management companies.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 18.310.020(1).

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Change existing rules to ensure applicants are aware of and can clearly identify the background check requirements; how early they can renew their license and comply with federal requirements under Title XI.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
