Purpose: Amend recreational fishing rules for Lake Aberdeen.
Citation of Existing Rules Affected by this Order: Repealing WAC 220-310-18000P; and amending WAC 220-310-180.
Under RCW 34.05.350 the agency for good cause finds that immediate adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule is necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, or general welfare, and that observing the time requirements of notice and opportunity to comment upon adoption of a permanent rule would be contrary to the public interest.
Reasons for this Finding: This emergency rule is necessary to close the lake prior to the event to ensure a safe and successful kids fish-in event. The fish will be planted the evening prior to the event to better acclimate them to the lake. There is insufficient time to adopt permanent rules.

WAC 220-310-18000U Freshwater exceptions to statewide rules—Coastal.
Notwithstanding the provisions of WAC 220-310-180, effective 5:30 p.m. May 13 through 5:30 a.m. May 14, 2016, it is unlawful to fish in waters of Lake Aberdeen.
REPEALER
The following section of the Washington Administrative Code is repealed effective 5:31 a.m. May 14, 2016:
