Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: Repealing WAC 246-817-340 Recording requirements for all prescription drugs.

THIS RULE IS BEING PROPOSED UNDER AN EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE AGENCY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS, PREPARE A SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT, OR PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE CRITERIA FOR A SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE RULE. Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: The dental quality assurance commission (commission) proposes to repeal WAC 246-817-340 as it is redundant to WAC 246-817-305 (3)(i)(i) through (iv).
Reasons Supporting Proposal: The commission adopted new WAC 246-817-305 on April 17, 2016. WAC 246-817-305 (3)(i)(i) through (iv) duplicates all requirements listed in WAC 246-817-340. RCW 34.05.353 (2)(d) allows expedited rule making for other rules of the agency or of another agency govern [governing] the same activity as the rule, making the rule redundant.
Statute Being Implemented: RCW 18.32.002.
Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.
