WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY

Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.
Purpose: The rule currently states that the board of trustees shall meet on the first Thursday of the month a meeting is held. The board no longer meets on the first Thursday and the purpose is to bring the rule current.
Citation of Existing Rules Affected by this Order: Amending WAC 516-04-010.

AMENDATORY SECTION (Amending WSR 90-10-042, filed 4/27/90, effective 5/1/90)
WAC 516-04-010 Regular meetings.
Regular meetings of the board of trustees of Western Washington University shall be held ((on the first Thursday of each month a meeting is held unless such date is changed by board resolution at a meeting regularly scheduled or called for that purpose. A copy of such resolution shall be filed in the president's office. The annual meeting schedule will be published in the Washington State Register prior to January each year)) pursuant to schedules and at locations published annually in the Washington State Register. Any regular meeting of the board may be rescheduled by publishing notice of the changed date and/or location in the Washington State Register at least twenty days in advance of the rescheduled meeting date. If twenty days advance notice of a rescheduled meeting is not given, the meeting is conducted as a special meeting under RCW 42.30.080. All such regular meetings will be conducted in conformance with the laws of the state of Washington and the bylaws of the board.
