INTERPRETIVE STATEMENT

The Washington state department of agriculture repeals Interpretive Statement Number PS-14-0002 (WSR 14-21-049). The interpretive statement was approved on October 7, 2014, and established a framework for fair and consistent determination of civil penalties for violations of the Motor Fuel Quality Act, chapters 19.112 RCW and 16-662 WAC. The department has determined that the civil penalty matrix has been incorporated into chapter 16-662 WAC, therefore the interpretive statement is no longer necessary and should be repealed.
