Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: WAC 181-77-068 defines eligible certificates to earn a work force learning certificate.
NOTICE
THIS RULE IS BEING PROPOSED UNDER AN EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE AGENCY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS, PREPARE A SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT, OR PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE CRITERIA FOR A SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE RULE. Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: Clarifies all valid certificates to include probationary certificates. This has been practice, the rule change clarifies to that effect.
Reasons Supporting Proposal: Clarifies existing practice.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: Chapter 28A.410 RCW.
Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.

AMENDATORY SECTION (Amending WSR 08-16-004, filed 7/23/08, effective 8/23/08)
WAC 181-77-068 Requirements for coordinator of worksite learning initial or continuing certificates.
To obtain a coordinator of worksite learning certificate, a candidate must:
(1) Possess a valid probationary, initial or continuing career and technical education teaching certificate; and
(2) Successfully demonstrate competencies related to coordination techniques as verified by a professional educator standards board approved program.
