Under RCW 34.05.230, following are two policy and interpretive statement[s] amended and ten policy and interpretive statements repealed by the department of labor and industries, insurance services division.

Title: Policy 6.30 – Preferred Worker.
Date Issued: March 23, 2017.
Description: This policy was amended to expand employer eligibility to include the employer of injury. A self-insured employer is eligible when employing a worker certified on or after January 1, 2016, under a state fund claim. The preferred worker job must be approved by the worker's health care provider and the department's vocational services specialist. An on-the-job training provider does not qualify for preferred worker benefits.

Title: Policy 16.40 – Reopening Requests for Disability Benefits on Claims Closed Over Seven (Ten) Years.
Date Issued: March 23, 2017.
Description: This policy was amended to change a temporary policy to a permanent policy. Information was added to reflect differences between an over seven request and a regular reopening request and the policy was rearranged for readability. Information was removed and added to the policy task.
