Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Current procedural rules address the sixty day time frame for holding a hearing which will be reduced to thirty days on January 1, 2019. Per the Administrative Procedure Act, updated rules would meet department of licensing's (DOL) obligation to codify longstanding informal rules of procedure.
