Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 48.02.060, sections 4(2) and 8, chapter 30, Laws of 2018. Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Chapter 30, Laws of 2018, require[s] domestic insurers to file an annual corporate governance disclosure with the commissioner. Section 4(2) provides that the disclosure must be prepared consistent with the NAIC's corporate governance annual disclosure model rule. The proposed rules will consider the adoption of this NAIC model rule. Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.
