Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 41.05.021, 41.05.160, SSB 5883, section 213 (1)(c), 65th legislature, 2017 regular session. Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The agency is revising chapters 182-548 and 182-549 WAC to reflect the changes being made to chapters 182-535 and 182-535A WAC to comply with legislation in SSB 5883, section 213 (1)(c) regarding dental managed care plans. During the course of this review, the agency may identify additional changes that are required in order to improve clarity or update policy, such as managed care enhancement payments and managed care reconciliation process.
