The Washington state growth management hearings board (GMHB) is an independent quasi judicial tribunal that hears and decides certain land use cases arising statewide under the Growth Management Act, Shoreline Management Act, and State Environmental Policy Act. The powers, duties, and functions of the GHHB [GMHB] are set forth in RCW 36.70A.250 through 36.70A.335. Pursuant to RCW 36.70A.270, the administrative officer of the GMHB handles administrative matters on behalf of the GMHB.
