Subject of Possible Rule Making: Zero emission vehicle charging and refueling infrastructure program.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: E2SHB 2042 section 3 amends RCW 47.04.350 to expand the electric vehicle infrastructure program to include hydrogen fueling stations.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: RCW 47.04.350 was amended to expand the electric vehicle infrastructure program to include hydrogen fueling stations.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Coordinating with stakeholders including Washington state departments of commerce, ecology, and enterprise services.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
