POLICY STATEMENT

The Washington state department of agriculture repeals Policy Statement Number CI-18-0002. Notification of the policy statement was filed with the office of the code reviser on December 19, 2018 (WSR 19-02-002). It established how the department will determine if a 0.003 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) test result exceeds the regulatory limit for industrial hemp under chapter 15.120 RCW, Industrial hemp research program, and chapter 16-305 WAC, Industrial hemp research program.

The department filed a CR-103 on January 22, 2020, repealing chapter 16-305 WAC and establishing the new hemp program under chapter 16-306 WAC, as authorized by chapter 15.140 RCW, Hemp production, and the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018. Therefore, this policy statement is no longer necessary and should be repealed.
