Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The office of the superintendent of public instruction is considering rule making to provide funding parameters to school districts that choose to be early adopters of the early screening of dyslexia (E2SSB 6162 (2018)).
Process for Developing New Rule: Early solicitation of feedback and recommendations respecting new or amended rules, and consideration of the comments and recommendations in the course of drafting rules.
