Due to the COVID-19 state of emergency and circumstances beyond our control, the Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA) must cancel its upcoming public board meeting:

March public board meeting, Whitman County, CANCELLED, Saturday, March 28, 2020, 10:00 - 2:00, Washington State University, Spark Building, Room G45, Pullman, Washington.

To comply with Governor Inslee's proclamation requiring the closure of all academic institutions, Washington State University canceled CAPAA's room reservation. Further, unfortunately, the commission cannot reconcile requirements to comply with the Open Public Meetings Act with expectations to comply with social distancing, as we cannot secure a physical location where members of the public can attend, nor dedicate staff or commissioners to ensure social distancing requirements are met and enforced.
