Subject of Possible Rule Making: The department is considering new rules to govern the management of its rule-making files.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: New rules are necessary to clarify the department's implementation of chapter
34.05 RCW, the Administrative Procedures [Procedure] Act. The purpose of these rules is to identify a point of contact for the department's rule-making files and clarify the department's procedures relative to requests for public access to its rule-making files.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None - these rules are intended to clarify administrative procedures specific to the Washington department of fish and wildlife.
Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
