34.05.230, following are statements related to one new and nine amended policies, issued by the department of labor and industries (L&I) fraud prevention and labor standards division.

Title: Policy ES.A.8.2 – How to Calculate Overtime.

Description: The updated policy reflects recent changes to state and federal regulations pertaining to exemptions from overtime and other protections for executive, administrative, professional, computer professional, and outside sales employees, as well as Minimum Wage Act updates necessitated by Initiative 1433. L&I has also incorporated changes in these policies in order to make them more accessible by using plain language and to provide additional clarity.
