On September 10, 2020, the Governor's Office received an appeal from Candice Bock, Director of Government Relations, Association of Washington Cities, relating to the Washington State Department of Employment Security Department's denial of a petition to repeal or amend WAC 192-700-010 (Can an employer deny employment restoration?) and 192-700-020 (When does an employer need to provide a continuation of health benefits to an employee who is on paid family or medical leave?).
