Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 516-21 WAC, Student conduct code.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.35.120
(12); and 20 U.S.C. 1681-1688.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Update student conduct code to be in compliance with new Title IX federal regulations from the Department of Education. The new rules went into effect August 14, 2020.
