Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 516-21 WAC, Student conduct code.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW
28B.35.120(12); and 20 U.S.C. 1681-1688.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Update student conduct code to be in compliance with new Title IX federal regulations from the Department of Education. The new rules went into effect August 14, 2020.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
