PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

BELLEVUE COLLEGE

Subject of Possible Rule Making: Revising chapter 132H-116 WAC regarding parking and traffic rules.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: Chapter 34.05 RCW; and RCW 28B.50.140(13).

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To update the current parking and traffic rules with the intention to remove and/or update outdated information while also providing greater clarity to better serve our campus community.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Title 46 RCW, Motor vehicles, and the City of Bellevue City Code Chapter 14.60 Transportation Development Code.

Process for Developing New Rule: Proposed changes are being presented to the campus community for feedback and a public meeting will be held.
